We saw a significant increase in listings coming to market in June, but yet I still hear conversations about a lack of inventory. A majority of buyers are looking for move-in ready homes, and the ones that are positioned and priced appropriately are going fast. Then there are homes that are just sitting… chances are good that it’s due to pricing or projects.

Here’s what I’m telling serious buyers, right now: Acting promptly is crucial. Be ready to make an offer as soon as you find a home that captures your heart.

What does that look like? Go through the process of getting pre-approved!

My advice for sellers: It’s important to be realistic with pricing and what the market demand is right now. Knowing what buyer’s consider a must-haves helps, too! That way, you can spend time/money on things that will have the biggest impact on the sale of your house.
